Good Cop Homework

When the main character is first introduced, he is introduced as a murderer, this is shown by him having a gun and blood on his hands, also the guilty look on his face, the look of disturbance to his natural self, this gives the impression to the audience that he is the bad guy, not the Good Cop, and that maybe he is in trouble or hiding. With his meeting with the woman and her daughter, the atmosphere is awkward and intense, this is shown by their facial expressions, which shows that they’ve been interrupted, and they do not want to be spoken to by him, creating the impression that they have a history, and that he has somehow missed it up, making the audience question what has happened. Also his relationship with people at his workplace is that he is quite close to them, as in they know a lot about him and his social life out of work. I know this because he speaks to them about his and Cassie’s relationship, which he obviously has a great insight of, unlike the audience at this moment. Sav is represented as very calm, alert and very serious about his job, this is shown by in the café; he is not even able to eat his meal due to his ‘police instinct’ kicking in about the man in the café. He is also shown to be calm with the way that he approaches Amy in the toilet, his tone of voice is very calm, and he does not frighten her, he uses calm words in order to calm her. When Sav is dealing with the victims with the dead baby, he again uses a very comforting tone and uses comforting words; he also, when having to call the incident in, goes away from the victims, to show remorse, and tries to protect them from hearing the officer’s talk about the death. To the audience the main character, Sav, is represented as someone who knows the feeling of losing someone, as he is particularly careful with the words that he says, and he tries to connect with the boy so that he will trust him and confide in him.
