Institution and Audience: Keith Lemon the film

I have recently been to watch Keith Lemon: The Film, I went to go see this due to the advertising done on the television, there has been alot of adverts which have highlighted the key moments in the film, for me this ruined the film as I already knew the most funny parts of the film. I was very dissapointed with the film because Leigh Francis, who portrays the character or Kieth Lemon, the orange sex obsessed comedian, has built up the image of Kieth Lemon so high by the multiply comedy shows that he has presented/starred in. Therefore the comedy of Kieths personality was not shown correctly in the film, I do not think that the comedy element was portrayed aswell as I had expected, as i usually laugh alot at the jokes in the programmes that he stars in, however during the film i only laughed at several bits, most of which were in the advertisements on television. The storyline was nothing like i had of expected for the film to be like, it bases it on Kieth being in a serious relationship where his partner is pregnant, this to me was a very unusual storyline, and I do not know if the writers of the film intended it to be different to what you would expect, but to me it was a dissapointment.
