NCIS
I have chosen to write an overview of NCIS, an American crime drama. The general plots of the drama is there is a team of agents working for NCIS, investigation crimes, there usually is a plot twist half way through, generally being them being misguided on their suspect for the incidents. The characters all have a 'witty' quality about them, they all are seemed to be like a family, comfortable but all have their own roles in the 'family'. The appeal to the audience would be that the characters are all relatable, likeable and the plots are always different, there are no repeats or similar episodes, all of them are unique. During the episode, there is the obvious occasional gunshot, police siren or scream in the background, but as the series is office based, there is a lot of background noise, and this is things such as telephones, other agents speaking, and the opening and closing of doors. Also the seriousness of the characters show that they are out to get something sorted, which gives you a clue to the genre, showing that it is serious, and perhaps crime related. The main give away is obviously the plots, but also the uniforms of the agents and the show title (providing that you know what NCIS stands for).
